Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes
Strong attention to detail, along with solid math and reasoning abilities
Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with colleagues
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced team environment
Employs strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions with a positive approach
Proficient in reading blueprints and using measurement tools such as calipers and rulers

Nice To Haves

One year of relevant experience in manufacturing (preferred)

Responsibilities

Prepares work to be accomplished by using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), blueprint specifications, and Product Structure list by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
Set-up and operate assigned machines to perform machine operations on a repetitive basis
Measure parts with precision tools to make certain parts meet specifications
Visually inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
Ensures equipment remains functional by keeping it clean and promptly reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
Promotes a safe and tidy work environment by adhering to standard 5S practices.
Responsible for accurate reporting of labor time, production quantities, inventory movements and scrap in ERP system
Responsible for meeting production and quality goals
Performs other duties as required
