Omni Glass & Paint is hiring a full-time Machine Operator to join our warehouse and production team. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
  • Valid Driver's License-Required
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions - Required
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements included overtime as needed - Required
  • Ability to problem solve - Required
  • Attention to detail - Required
  • Ability to work professionally with others - Required

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience - Preferred
  • Experience with hand and power tools - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties related to glass cutting, tempering, and handling in accordance with customer orders.
  • Learn and work at all facility stations as required safely and productively.
  • Lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Produce a finished product with standard tolerance.
  • Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance on all machines within the department.
  • Pre-state raw material (glass) according to work orders and place finished product in appropriate staging areas in accordance with established glass handling guidelines.
  • Grip, cup and clamp with hand and wrist motions to support, carry and maneuver glass/objects to platform heights of three feet in a manner considered safe for self and others.
  • Maintain work area, inventory control, quality control in relation to the product being assembled, and meet production needs set by management.
  • Be dependable, hard-working, pro-active in performing assigned duties, make sound decisions related to safety and have multi-task capabilities.
  • Perform repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Be cross trained to perform job duties of other workstations.
  • Continuously work in a manner to ensure safety of self and others.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
