Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
Valid Driver's License-Required
Ability to read and comprehend instructions - Required
Ability to meet attendance requirements included overtime as needed - Required
Ability to problem solve - Required
Attention to detail - Required
Ability to work professionally with others - Required

Nice To Haves

3+ years of manufacturing/production experience - Preferred
Experience with hand and power tools - Preferred

Responsibilities

Perform duties related to glass cutting, tempering, and handling in accordance with customer orders.
Learn and work at all facility stations as required safely and productively.
Lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Produce a finished product with standard tolerance.
Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance on all machines within the department.
Pre-state raw material (glass) according to work orders and place finished product in appropriate staging areas in accordance with established glass handling guidelines.
Grip, cup and clamp with hand and wrist motions to support, carry and maneuver glass/objects to platform heights of three feet in a manner considered safe for self and others.
Maintain work area, inventory control, quality control in relation to the product being assembled, and meet production needs set by management.
Be dependable, hard-working, pro-active in performing assigned duties, make sound decisions related to safety and have multi-task capabilities.
Perform repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment.
Be cross trained to perform job duties of other workstations.
Continuously work in a manner to ensure safety of self and others.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
