About The Position
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specific functions. The responsibilities listed below are included but are not limited to.
Requirements
- Machine operator experience is required
- Blueprint reading skills
- The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
- Detailed oriented
- Computer skill
- Good communication skills
- General labor skills
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, stacking, and moving pallets
- Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed
- Learn to set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
- Learn how to perform changeovers
- Load programs/inputs into the machine control
- Learn how to perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used
- Use proper tools on the machine
- Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
- Practice exceptional housekeeping
