Requirements

HS Diploma or GED.
Ability to use tools.
Exceptional Teamwork required.

Responsibilities

Operate any or all machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Read, write, count, follow instructions and use a weighing scale.
Follow detailed written instructions to operate equipment.
Perform sustained physical effort handling light and/or average weights (up to and including 50 pounds) and where a majority of body members are regularly employed.
Transfer of parts between tumblers, machines, and storage locations.
Make minor adjustments to the machine when necessary.
Diagnose problems and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
Complete necessary paperwork to record production and quality performance daily.
Ensure standard quality checks are performed properly and regularly.
Perform training as instructed by supervisor, including training other operators.
Keep work cell neat and clean.
Maintain lean work environment and strive to eliminate waste in the workstation.
Ensure that there are no safety hazards on the floor in the working area.
Proactively identify potential safety issues.
Operate several machines with continuous mental or visual attention.
Work overtime as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
