About The Position
Oakwood Veneer Company is seeking a Full-Time Production Associate for an entry-level Machine Operator position. This role offers a steady day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The position does not require working nights, weekends, or holidays. The company provides on-the-job training for operating various machines and working with wood veneer, making prior experience unnecessary. The work environment is a clean, bright, and well-organized 44,000 sq. ft. facility, distinct from the typical noisy and dirty factory setting. Oakwood Veneer has a history of stable employment, with no layoffs in nearly 40 years, except for a COVID shutdown. The company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of wood veneer, valuing each team member's contribution in a close-knit environment.
Requirements
- Machine operator experience 6 months or so, or similar (ex: fast food, short order cook, etc.)
- Shows up on time and ready to work every day
- Willing to learn and grow within the company
- Willing to work on large industrial machinery

Responsibilities
