About The Position

The Machine Operator (Butter) is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality final products. There are a variety of sub-classifications within the Operator job family that could range in specific duties from receiving and handling the raw materials, adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, to packaging the final product. In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation. In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 6 plus months of manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
  • Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
  • Machine operation and/or forklift experience
