The ideal candidate will have experience in the printing industry, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety. This role is critical in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of efficiency and team morale.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the printing or packaging industry.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of printing processes (e.g., flexographic, offset, digital) and related equipment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and production tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of production workers to meet daily manufacturing goals.
  • Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to ensure optimal use of resources and equipment.
  • Monitor production quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track performance metrics, report on production output, downtime, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
