Machine Operator I/II - 12-hr shifts - Pitney Rd

Dart Container is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team at the Pitney Road, Lancaster, PA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating production machinery to ensure efficient operation and maintain high standards of quality. Requirements
- Machine Operator I - Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Machine Operator I - Familiar with and ability to convert decimals to fractions or vice versa
- Machine Operator I - Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Machine Operator I - Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures
- Machine Operator I - Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
- Machine Operator II - Two (2) years of experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment or equivalent technical school or apprentice experience
- Machine Operator II - Previous plant production software experience required; SAP experience preferred
- Machine Operator II - Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Machine Operator II - Familiar with and ability to convert decimals to fractions or vice versa
- Machine Operator II - Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Machine Operator II - Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures
- Machine Operator II - Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
Nice To Haves
- Machine Operator I - Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Machine Operator I - Six (6) months material handling or machine operations experience
- Machine Operator I - Technical school or apprenticeship experience
- Machine Operator I - Previous powered industrial truck experience
- Machine Operator II - Previous powered industrial truck experience
- Machine Operator II - Paper converting, chemical/plastics processing and/or packaging industrial experience
