3rd Shift Machine Operator
About The Position
Great Northern is hiring a Corrugated Machine Operator for its Brooklyn Park, Minnesota location. The role operates in a manufacturing environment and is suited to someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, previous experience or mechanical aptitude, and an ability to contribute to Great Northern’s culture. This is a safety-sensitive position at a tobacco-free campus. The schedule is 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 10:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. Pay is $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a $2.00-per-hour shift differential. Employees may need to work weekends and overtime when needed. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, with experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, manuals, and order specifications.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Mechanical and spatial aptitude.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to move from one task or assignment to another on short notice.
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when needed.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Previous experience or mechanical aptitude.
