About The Position

Silvercote is hiring a Machine Operator responsible for the daily production of MBI (Metal Building Insulation) products. The role involves safely and efficiently operating a lamination machine, selecting the correct materials, recording waste, monitoring product quality, and making machine adjustments or corrections as necessary. The Machine Operator works with a team of Laminators to meet production levels. The position involves frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as standing for up to 12 hours to perform job-related tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing and/or production facility.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job-related tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate the lamination machine.
• Ensure the correct materials are used and properly record waste.
• Monitor insulation product quality as it runs through the machine and make adjustments and corrections as necessary.
• Partner with the team of Laminators to meet production levels.
