About The Position

This role involves operating various machines and automation work cells, troubleshooting issues, and performing quality inspections. The position requires adherence to company policies and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or trade school degree (GED).
  • Three to four years' related experience and/or training.
  • Combination of education and experience is accepted.
  • Skills and ability to operate different machine and automation work cells.
  • Ability to operate one or work cell at the same time when needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform packing line changes to the shrink wrap machines and label printers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic machine/automation alarms.
  • Ability to apply developed troubleshooting techniques to locate and correct sources of deficiency in production or automation.
  • Ability to use HMI controllers.
  • Ability to accurately document and input data into the production monitoring system (hydra).
  • Ability to identify and effectively communicate all problems to the WCT’s or supervisor.
  • Ability to take routine Quality inspections to identify any defects or imperfections.
  • Ability to perform material handling duties such as getting and loading supplies using pallet jack or other power equipment.
  • Ability to follow all policies and protocols e.g. documentation, safety, cleaning & gowning procedures.
  • Ability to communicate production results or problems with the Work Cell Technicians or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Operate different machine and automation work cells.
  • Operate one or more work cells simultaneously when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and perform packing line changes to shrink wrap machines and label printers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine/automation alarms.
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques to locate and correct deficiencies in production or automation.
  • Use HMI controllers.
  • Accurately document and input data into the production monitoring system (hydra).
  • Identify and effectively communicate all problems to the WCT’s or supervisor.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $21/hr.
