Pdm UsRock Hill, SC

About The Position

At PDM, we don't just make metal products-we craft them with passion, precision, and purpose. Guided by our Copper Core Values, we are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is perfect for operators who take pride in quality, embrace safety, and thrive in a collaborative, values-driven environment. As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate machinery. Your work ensures our products meet the exacting standards that our customers expect. You will be hands-on every day: installing and adjusting dies, materials, and tooling; loading raw materials and unloading finished products using equipment such as overhead cranes or forklifts; and conducting detailed dimensional inspections with micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Your attention to detail helps maintain quality -one of our core values-while also keeping operations running smoothly. Safety is always a top priority. You will follow strict protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain an organized workspace to protect yourself and your teammates. Your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills will come into play when performing routine maintenance, polishing tooling, or troubleshooting minor issues to reduce downtime. We also value integrity and accountability: accurate documentation of production logs, tagging finished products, and recording quality data in electronic systems are essential parts of the role. Collaboration is key, so you'll work closely with team members across shifts to ensure consistent results and uphold the Team PDM spirit.
