About The Position

This position operates a variety of machines in a production environment and uses assigned power equipment to process orders that meet customer requirements. The operator sets up and runs assigned machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, making safe adjustments to meet exact order requirements. The role also includes identifying equipment defects or excessive wear, performing equipment setup and preventive maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The operator may assist with Warehouse Operator responsibilities as needed.

The position is scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $20 per hour, with eligibility for incentives. The work involves frequent exposure to mechanical moving parts and requires assigned safety equipment to be worn at all times.

Requirements

• Basic measurement competency.
• Basic math competency.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse environment.
• Strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of work experience.
• One year of equipment experience.
• PC literacy.
• Certification in assigned equipment, such as forklift, Raymond side-loader, or overhead crane.

Responsibilities
