About The Position

Firestone Airide, specializes in air spring manufacturing and technology with a history of more than 80 years of research and development on technologically advanced air springs for the global marketplace. Firestone engineers air springs and related products for commercial trucks and trailers, cars, sport utility vehicles, light trucks, mini vans, motor homes, buses, agricultural equipment, rail and industrial applications.

Requirements

High school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly in a safe manner.
Ability to observe all other safety regulations and rules.
Ability to keep their work area neat and clean.

Responsibilities

Operate & set up both large coil fed presses as well as smaller hand-fed press, use and set-up of assembly machines, etc.
Perform simple, dexterous operation with hands, load and unload brazing furnaces, operate tapping equipment, drill presses, CNC machines, crimping machines, etc.
Perform incoming, in-process or final inspection as detailed in the appropriate work instructions; and/or label, weigh, perform data entry duties, deliver product from storage locations to a specific machinery or rack locations.
Fill out daily reports such as labor cards, waste and defective reports, machine down time reports, SPC data collection, and any other prescribed by management.
Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly in a safe manner.
Observe all other safety regulations and rules.
Keep their work area neat and clean.
