About The Position
Temp To Full-Time EDM Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating EDM machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with tight tolerances, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- EDM experience preferred
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
- Ability to lift to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
Nice To Haves
- Experience in tool & die, mold making, or precision machining environment a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate EDM machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMM)
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
