About The Position

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:15 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.). This role is responsible for setting up and operating production machines. Training will be provided for up to 8 weeks during the 1st shift schedule (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) before transitioning to the 3rd shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in setting up and operating semi-automated machines.
At least three (3) months in a manufacturing environment.
Some experience using a Microscope.
Basic computer skills.
Good math skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ADT 7122- dicing saw machines.
Some Vocational school emphasis in electronics.
Working in a Clean Room Environment.
Hand-on experience with Comma Coater or NCC machine.

Responsibilities

Setting up and operation of production machines.
Uploading program instructed on the traveler to stack sheets of dielectric material.
Reading travelers to ensure correct build-up design and dielectric type.
Reading and locating program files and data recording in SPC Data Entry.
Inspection of stacked bars through the microscope.
Removing, installing, and maintaining flanges, blade changes, balancing, and setting up programs.
Inspecting each part to ensure cuts are the correct specifications.
Working closely with Engineering to ensure yields are as expected and machines function properly.
Assisting in performing preventative maintenance on the machines.
