About The Position
Sheridan MN is looking for a mechanically inclined, detailed oriented individual to join our team as a Machine Operator. In this vital role, you will be a key player on either our 1st shift - performing a variety of tasks surrounding the set-up and operation of a machine that encases books in soft covers.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, or GED.
- Mechanical and/or Technical background.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and to the safety regulations.
- Ability to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and load materials, review work orders, specifications, and job samples to determine components, settings, and adjustments.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and report and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- Perform general maintenance on machine.
- Lead and motivate crew members to ensure meeting production goals and quality requirements.
