About The Position
Ice Cream Specialties is looking for a full-time machine operator. This shift would be Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm (with occasional mandatory Saturday shifts). This position pays $26.66 - $27.66 per hour with a 60-cent shift differential between the hours of 3 pm and 7 am.
Requirements
- Chemical Safety Training before handling chemicals
- Attended GMP, HACCP and Allergen Training
- Met all requirements of the SQF Program
- Comply with all GMP requirements
- Comply with all requirements for Personal Protective Equipment as defined by the appropriate plant procedures
- Comply with all Safety Rules and Policies
Responsibilities
- Operate any machine in the building
- Operate freezer on the production floor
- Operate fruit feeders
- Make up pop mixes
- Set up machines on the floor for production
- Keep work areas clean and free of clutter and debris
- Responsible for machine efficiency
- Responsible for team breaks
- Responsible for production weights and records
- Responsible for product displacement
- Responsible for product counts and records
- Checking and ensuring proper code dates
- Have Chemical Safety Training before handling chemicals
- Have attended GMP, HACCP and Allergen Training
- Have met all requirements of the SQF Program
- Comply with all GMP requirements
- Comply with all requirements for Personal Protective Equipment as defined by the appropriate plant procedures
- Comply with all Safety Rules and Policies
- Any other skilled jobs pertaining to the machine operator position
