About The Position

This position involves operating a variety of machines, including loading and unloading materials, setting up jobs with correct tooling, processing metal tubing, and ensuring the quality of produced and shipped tubes. The role requires adherence to safety policies and procedures, daily housekeeping, and preventative maintenance duties. Employees will use SAP for work orders and batch creation, and practice FIFO inventory management. The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle stress.

• Regular attendance at work and punctuality
• Must be able to operate a variety of industrial machines safely and efficiently after training
• Fully capable of operating fork trucks and cranes after training
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Previous manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines
• Load/unload materials onto/off machines
• Set up next job and ensure correct tooling is available
• Process metal tubing through equipment
• Ensure quality of tubes being produced and shipped
• Review computerized work list
• Locate available material
• Communicate with other operators to formulate run order
• Perform necessary set-up during shift
• Process the job and stage material for material handler
• Use SAP for accessing work orders, creating batches, and finish goods tags
• Use FIFO inventory management
• Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance duties
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
