About The Position

OMW Corporation is a world leading supplier of custom manufactured mechanical parts and assemblies, serving exciting companies in the aerospace, commercial launch, electronics, semiconductors, and medical industries. We have been in business for 28 years and are experiencing rapid growth. We are located in Novato, California. We are looking to fill a 2nd shift position, Monday-Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfort with physical labor and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal English.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations, and able to supply evidence of qualification prior to starting work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with inspecting and measuring mechanical parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Some experience making simple changes to machine offsets.
• Ability to inspect and replace broken tools and re-offset them.

Responsibilities

• Load and run parts in CNC machines, including computer-controlled mills and lathes.
• Perform minor part assembly and deburring.
• Inspect parts.
• Perform other related manufacturing tasks.
