About The Position

Responsible for the operation of LaRoche and Margasa machines and associated equipment to ensure the timely and quality production of finished material. This involves setting machine feed rates and adjusting operating parameters to optimal settings for each grade. The operator should be skilled in routine servicing procedures for box discharge systems and machines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a machine operator.
• Capable of performing tasks including working at heights and working in confined spaces.
• Able to read, write and convey ideas.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs with adequate body flexibility.
• Reliable attendance is a must.

Responsibilities

• Operate LaRoche and Margasa machines and associated equipment.
• Set machine feed rate and adjust operating parameters.
• Perform routine servicing procedures for box discharge systems and machines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Recommend safety improvements.
• Recommend production improvements.
• Comply with all safety and management programs.
