About The Position

We are currently seeking candidates for a 2nd Shift Machine C Operator in the Manufacturing Department. The hours for this position will be 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday – Friday. The Machine C Operator is our entry-level manufacturing position responsible for assisting lead operators on production line equipment efficiently while maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality, and Production standards. This role also involves promoting and following all EHS and Quality guidelines and procedures, performing minor set-ups, cleaning, and general operation of various filling and packaging machines. The operator will accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log. Additionally, they will recommend safety improvements, ensure housekeeping and equipment standards are met, and assist in training temporary workers. The role also requires the ability to conduct basic operation of cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, and taper/tape gun, and provide support to other line teams as needed.

Requirements

• Entry-level manufacturing position
• Ability to accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log.
• Ability to conduct basic operation of cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, and taper/tape gun.

Responsibilities

• Assists in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.
• Conducts basic operation of cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, and taper/tape gun.
• Provides support and assistance to other line teams as needed.
