About The Position

Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company focused on the repair, refurbishment, and remanufacturing of pallets. The Machine Operator inspects and separates pallets into grades, then places them in designated areas for forklift pickup while meeting company standards for safety, security, productivity, and quality. The role involves operating automated sortation equipment and manually guiding pallets from an automated indexer onto a conveyor. The schedule is Friday through Monday: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Monday from 5:30 AM to 11:00 AM. The first two weeks are spent on first shift for training. Pay is $20.00 per hour. The work is indoors and year-round, though the environment can involve occasional extreme temperature shifts, dust, loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and moving forklifts. Hearing protection is provided.

Requirements

Ability to follow the pallet inspection process.
Ability to work at a steady, fast pace.
Basic math skills.
Ability to lift and move 70–80 pounds repetitively.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including at least two hours at a time, four times in an eight-hour day.
Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
Ability to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements.
Close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
Ability to work around occasional extreme temperature shifts, dust, loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and moving forklifts.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment while performing job duties.
Operate automated sortation equipment effectively and safely.
Inspect pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards.
Manually guide 70-pound pallets from an automated indexer onto a conveyor system.
Visually inspect pallets and determine the level of repair needed.
Ensure pallets are properly inspected and separated while meeting company expectations.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
