About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line and sanitizing equipment. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Requirements

Must be in current position for 90 days.
No suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year.
Must not have four (4) or more attendance points at the time of application.
Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork.
Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be willing and able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas.
Must be willing and able to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors.
Must be willing and able to perform repetitive motions as required in many areas.
Must be willing and able to work in a cold, damp environment.
Must be willing and able to work on slippery walking surfaces.
