About The Position

PADNOS is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator for its Wyoming metals operation. The role operates multiple balers to bale metals and uses equipment such as a hi-lo, loader, forklift, sweeper, and/or small loader to help load, unload, grade, inspect, buy, and transport materials. Operators distinguish between grades and material types using basic identification tests, perform user maintenance before, during, and after operation, monitor equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and notify management when needed. The position also involves maintaining entrusted property, preparing documents and reports, completing paperwork, and diagnosing mechanical issues involving equipment such as motors, gearboxes, augers, pulleys, and conveyors. Mechanical experience is useful because equipment may break down and operators may be able to address some issues without calling maintenance. The role is based inside a manufacturing plant and involves a loud environment and temperatures that vary with the outdoor weather. Required PPE includes a hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, steel-toed shoes, and gloves when needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. PADNOS describes this as an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve while contributing to its recycling operations.
