About The Position

PAC by ProAmpac is hiring experienced Machine Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, working with machinery, and being part of a team that values safety, reliability, and production excellence, we want to hear from you. This is a machine operator role in a manufacturing environment. This is not a forklift position. It involves a 12-hour rotating night shift, from 8pm to 8am. The starting pay rate is $20.75 and up for highly qualified candidates based on experience, skill, and machine proficiency, plus a $1.10 shift premium.

Requirements

Dependable, safety-focused, and motivated to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist

Nice To Haves

Previous machine operator experience in manufacturing
Experience working from raw material through finished product production
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to perform machine-specific preventative maintenance tasks
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment
Performing machine setup and changeovers
Reading and following work orders and production specifications
Completing quality checks and required production documentation
Troubleshooting basic machine or quality issues
Understanding machine components including rollers, knives, webs, and unwind systems
Supporting startup, shutdown, and shift change procedures
Maintaining a safe and organized work area
Producing quality products that meet customer specifications
