About The Position

BlueScope Coated Products is seeking a Machine Operator for the First Shift. This role is responsible for processing quality hold coils to resolve potential defects, using an emboss cassette to emboss finished goods coils, preparing finished goods coils for packaging, operating an overhead crane, driving a forklift, entering coil data into Oracle, and producing coil identification tags. The operator will also operate a leveler unit. The position offers pay up to $23/HR and is for the First Shift, from 5:45 am to 6 pm.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One year of Manufacturing Experience
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test as a condition of employment
• Basic computer skills
• Time Management – prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Detail Oriented – ensures accuracy of product and documentation to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Mobile equipment operations skills
