2nd Shift Machine Operators NEEDED
About The Position
We are seeking skilled Machine Operators for our 2nd shift operations. This role involves setting up and operating various machines including Brake, Turret, Stamping, Spot Weld, and Robot Weld machines. Responsibilities include loading and unloading tools, securing blanks, operating machine controls, performing routine maintenance, running parts according to customer drawings, deburring parts during production, and executing secondary operations on punched parts. This job description outlines the general nature and level of work, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High school level education or equivalent and specialized training
- Twelve inch calipers that will pass calibration testing
- Good math skills
- Understanding of measurements and fractions
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of punch & die clearances, material bend allowances, and die radius for proper bending of material
- Able to read and understand production drawings
- Must be open to working overtime hours when necessary
Nice To Haves
- Blue print reading skills are desired
