About The Position

This position operates machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and to ensure the correct ingredients and supplies are used on the line. The operator monitors and adjusts machine settings as needed and notifies a supervisor if machinery requires maintenance, while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires proficiency in reading and writing, completing on-the-job paperwork, and communicating effectively across all management levels. This position is limited to team members currently working at this facility or complex; team members at another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements

Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate effectively across all management levels.
Must meet the internal application requirements: be in the current position for 90 days; have no suspensions or more than three written warnings within the past year; and have fewer than four attendance points at the time of application.
A team member who withdraws an application or declines a position once is restricted from applying to additional positions for six months.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach as required.
Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours on hard floors and perform repetitive motions.
