About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a baling machine, preparing product for secondary markets, and generating revenues that contribute to the organization's mission. In a typical day, a Machine Operator can expect to engage in Production and Quality Operations by operating equipment effectively and efficiently. They will also contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for employees and customers, and execute all job duties in a manner that promotes employment and quality participant experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, employees and customers
Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong decision-making skills.
Ability to interact with a very diverse population in a human-services setting.
Perseverance and commitment to getting the job done.
Ability to operate material handling equipment.
Open schedule availability including a combination of days, nights, and weekends, totaling at least 35 hours per week.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
