They must have thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-building parts. This role operates in a fast-paced production setting with an emphasis on safety and quality. The position involves routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment. Operators will mark parts with necessary identification and interpret blueprints and technical data. Continuous improvement practices, cost-saving suggestions, and waste elimination are encouraged. The role also requires the use of scanning equipment, visual inspection for defects, and the ability to read a tape measure and follow posted schedules. Teamwork and a commitment to safety are essential. Overtime may be required.
