About The Position

Our Arab, Alabama site is just outside Huntsville, offering access to great schools, outdoor recreation, and a low cost of living. We manufacture precision medical components used in joint, spine, and trauma procedures — work that truly makes a difference. As a Machine Operator, you will support the manufacturing of precision medical device components by operating multi-axis CNC equipment and related production machinery. You will be responsible for running multiple machines simultaneously, monitoring machine performance, performing quality inspections, and ensuring parts meet customer and regulatory specifications. Requirements

1+ Years of Experience Operating Machining Equipment in a Manufacturing Environment (Preferred)
Problem Solving - Working Experience
Machine Set Up - Working Experience
Visual Quality Assurance - Working Experience
GD&T - Working Experience
Blueprint Reading - Working Experience
Information Processing - Basic Knowledge
Quality Inspection Metrology Tools - Working Experience
Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Working Experience

Responsibilities

Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.
Set up jobs and operate conventional, special-purpose and computerized numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metallic parts
Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, grinders and tooling pre-setter.
Load programs into CNC machine and execute program to accurately machine parts to meet customer specifications.
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and make off sets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.
Grinding/Buffing of parts.
Checking parts on CMM.
Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
