This role operates machinery and instructs line help to safely meet production, customer, and company goals and requirements. The position supports company Core Values, participates in a Safe Work environment, and completes observations. The Machine Operator will inspect equipment for safety, read and understand production orders, and meet company productivity and customer quality requirements. This role involves using a forklift, crane, and manual handling of materials, and completing proper documentation for materials produced. The operator must have the ability to read a tape measure and possess good communication skills with their team, supervisor, and management. This position has the potential for promotion to Operator II and Operator III.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a related area
Must have basic Microsoft knowledge
Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, and various pneumatic equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Standing and walking 8 to 12 hours everyday
Repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders
Varying and extreme working conditions outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)
