About The Position

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a Darien, WI manufacturing client, is seeking qualified Machine Operators to join their team. These are long-term, temp-to-hire opportunities. The shifts available are 1st shift (5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime on Friday) and 2nd shift (3:30pm-2:00pm Monday-Thursday with overtime on Friday). The wage is $17.50-$17.90 per hour depending on the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to operate machine in a safe manner to efficiently mold product
• Ability to demold and charge molds within set machine time parameters
• Ability to perform mold maintenance and inspection
• Willingness to assist mold technician with mold changes
• Proficiency in de-flashing molded products using knives and hand scrapers
• Capability to perform secondary finishing on molded products
• Attention to detail to ensure product cleanliness
• Ability to provide material for machine operator

Responsibilities

• Operate machine in a safe manner to efficiently mold product
• Demold and charge molds within set machine time parameters
• Mold maintenance and mold inspection
• Assist mold technician with mold changes as necessary
• De-flashing molded products – requires use of knives and hand scrapers
• Perform some secondary finishing on molded products
• Ensure product cleanliness before progressing to next phase of manufacturing
• Provide material for machine operator
