About The Position

Ocean Spray is hiring entry-level machine operators for its Henderson, NV beverage manufacturing plant. This is a 90-day temp-to-hire program designed to allow candidates to determine if the position is a good fit. Ocean Spray is a vibrant agricultural cooperative owned by over 700 cranberry farmers, with more than 2,000 employees globally. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Able to demonstrate acceptable levels of basic grammar, mathematical aptitude, and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes, but not limited to; lifting, bending, climbing, standing, crouching, kneeling, walking, talking, hearing, etc.
Ability to routinely lift/move up to 50lbs and regularly required to taste or smell product

Responsibilities

Maintains a positive attitude with team members and throughout the shift
Perform quality checks and inspections during production
Performs Cleaning in Place (CIP) procedures
Documents information in a timely and accurate manner
Follows all safety, quality and procedural standards
Communicates with team members effectively
Uses computer/computer systems/email as needed
Able to work in 24/7 manufacturing environment, including nights, weekends and possibly some holidays
Able to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes
Other duties as assigned
