About The Position

The Machine Operator position is a full-time role in the Production Department, reporting to the Production Supervisor. This role involves operating machines according to production specifications, monitoring and adjusting settings for quality, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to all safety, conduct, and attendance rules. The operator will follow assigned work schedules to meet production goals, accurately enter information into production systems, and inspect materials and equipment for defects. A key aspect of this role is ensuring the work area complies with safety and sanitation regulations and that all operations conform to production standards.

Nice To Haves

  • High school graduate with minimum of 1 yr direct industrial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machines according to production specifications.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the machinery.
  • Follow all safety, conduct and attendance rules.
  • Follow assigned work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
  • Accurately enter information into production systems.
  • Inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operations conform to production or processing standards.
  • Consistently follow specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure your work area is in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
