About The Position

The Machine Operator position at Sauer Brands' Greenville Facility is responsible for ensuring smooth production runs by making necessary adjustments to equipment, utilizing quality tools to meet product standards, and contributing to the company's recipe development. This role involves understanding equipment functions for effective adjustments and promoting efficient line operation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Must be detail oriented
• Able to walk & stand during most all of a 10 hour shift
• Quality driven, Self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Dependable & punctual
• Able to lift 30 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Machine Operating Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks (code dates, seal integrity, and correct labeling) on a predetermined schedule.
• Ensure accurate tracking of lot ID information and timely completion of all paperwork.
• Increase effectiveness and cross-train where needed to promote line effectiveness.
• Maintain high standards in regards to company policy involving SAFETY and GMPs.
• Participate in Tool Box talks incorporating stretching, promote Safe Start principles, and near miss reporting.
• Keep work areas orderly and clean.
