TH Foods, Inc.•Loves Park, IL
•$21 - $23

About The Position

The Machine Operator sets up, operates, and tends machines that mix, cook, season, convey, and wrap product. The role ensures products meet company specifications, food-safety guidelines, and production requirements by following batch sheets, formulas, and equipment setup procedures. The operator measures and records data, operates equipment safely to minimize waste and maximize productivity, and verifies labels, ingredients, and materials for correctness. The position works individually and in teams with little supervision. Accuracy and attention to detail are important because mistakes can cause lost productivity, raw-material loss, downtime, or food-safety issues. The role involves working near processing equipment and may involve exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, heat, humidity, dust, slippery floors, and strenuous, fast-paced work. Weekend work and work exceeding eight hours per day may be required as business priorities dictate. The position may direct coworkers’ daily activities but has no direct supervisory responsibility. The expected base pay is $21 per hour, plus a $2 per hour shift differential for second and third shifts.
