About The Position

Leonhardt Manufacturing is looking to fill 1st shift Shift Machine Operator positions. Machine Operators operate machines requiring a normal amount of skill to change the shape or conditioning of new materials. Leonhardt Manufacturing, an ISO certified manufacturing company in Hanover, PA, offers a full range of tubing and sheet metal fabrication capabilities, as well as services including sub-assemblies, welding and brazing, metal finishing, metal stampings, prototyping and supply chain management.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous manufacturing experience a must
Accuracy and attention to detail is important
Ability to meet and exceed productivity standards
Observes and adheres to policies and procedures
Demonstrates dependability
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

Previous CNC experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined part to specifications using the "In Process Check Sheet" (Green Sheet)
Checks for any quality alerts in their respective areas (Light Booths)
Follows the production control board for run quantities
Keeps area clean and clutter free
Recognizes and able to make minor adjustments to program to correct part fitment or appearance
Performs quality checks as per the "In Process Check Sheet" (Green Sheet)
Follows daily operating plan for the machine which includes safety and mechanical checks
