About The Position
Sherwood Bedding is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our production team as a Machine Operator. This role offers hands-on training, growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of a team dedicated to quality and efficiency in bedding manufacturing.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machinery
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual and a team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous coiling or mattress manufacturing experience not required—training provided
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to ensure smooth machine operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Inspect materials and finished products to meet quality standards
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
