Operates process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality.

Requirements

Operates process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality.
Executes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
Performs routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs and fits simple replacement parts.
Ensures regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshoots and reports issues, if any.
Ensures the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to the defined workflow.
Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities.
Maintains detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Keeps track of approved, defective units, and final products.
Demonstrates ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly.
Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.
Ensures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB.
