About The Position

Experienced Specialist within the Manufacturing Machine Operations job family. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers.
  • Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, blueprints, quality specifications, and other related documents.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong math and mechanical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to contribute as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices.
  • Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.
  • Ability to use hard tined rake to move/break apart parts frequently.
  • Ability to regularly stand.
  • Good close vision and depth perception skills.
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to complete all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cold heading, pointing, and/or threading preferred.
