About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. This role is responsible for operating machinery to produce finished goods, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be able to perform various manufacturing tasks, maintain equipment, conduct quality checks, and contribute to a safe and clean work environment. Requirements

Standing for long periods of time
Ability to read a tape measure
Bending, lifting, twisting on a continuous basis
Ability to lift 70 lbs
Ability to clearly communicate with material handlers, other employees and managers as needed
Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
Ability to clearly differentiate colors

Nice To Haves

Experience assisting on multi-color flexographic press
Basic Computer skills

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe work area
Operate machinery to produce finished goods
Maintain efficiency and quality during operation
Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow
Perform equipment adjustments
Mount cutting dies, print plates, and other required tooling for each job
Perform quality checks prior to each job and during production runs
Maintain documented checklists for quality checks, ink monitoring, and cleanup
Keep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiency
Help troubleshoot quality or machine issues as they occur
Ensure equipment is properly maintained, notifying Maintenance and Supervisors of any issues
Perform daily and detailed weekly cleanup in accordance with the cleanup checklist
Identify and report any damaged tooling that needs repair
Identify product safety concerns and report them to your supervisor
Maintain proper production reporting
Perform other duties as determined by Plant Superintendent, Shift Supervisor or Shift Lead
