Role purpose Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, assembly, and other steps along a production line.

  • Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
  • Masters Service Conversations
  • Works at a basic level to navigate customer conversations by leveraging the four parts of a service conversation: open, learn, reply, and close. Typically works under close supervision.
  • Navigates Field Service Interactions
  • Works at a basic level to navigate customer interactions in a face-to-face setting, creating positive, defining moments. Typically works under close supervision.
  • Upper Secondary School
  • Basic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Operating Machine or Equipment Operate semi-complex equipment and machines, prioritizing routine tasks to improve efficiency and adjusting multiple related variables to resolve production problems.
  • Operations Management Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. This will involve adjusting multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
  • Equipment Changeover Carry out changeover of one or more equipment, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
  • Equipment Total Productive Maintenance Carry out TPM checks and activities, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
  • Quality Carry out relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
  • Health, Safety and Environment Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
  • Operational Compliance Follow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
  • Work Scheduling and Allocation Organize own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities.
  • Personal Capability Building Support others by implementing improvements and carrying out simple change management tasks.
