About The Position

At TAG Hardware, we’re hiring a Machine Operator / Technician who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow into a fully capable operator. If you bring the right attitude and work ethic, we’ll provide the training. Reporting to the Manufacturing & Plant Manager, this role supports day-to-day production by operating and learning a range of manufacturing equipment. This is a hands-on, learn-as-you-go opportunity with room to grow into a skilled technician role over time.

Requirements

Manufacturing or hands-on experience is an asset (not required)
Strong willingness to learn and take direction
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools/equipment
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Basic math and reading skills (work orders, labels, procedures)
Reliable, team-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing or hands-on experience is an asset (not required)

Responsibilities

Learn to safely set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment
Support operation of cutting saws, grinders, profile wrappers, and slitting equipment
Assist with machine start-ups, material loading, and basic adjustments
Follow daily production schedules and standard operating procedures
Inspect, package, and move finished goods
Maintain quality standards and escalate issues as needed
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe (5S)
Support inventory counts and material flow across production
Contribute to continuous improvement and team success
