About The Position

As a Team Lead, you will coordinate and support the daily work. You will oversee the order/task situation, focusing on containment and corrective actions during order/task execution time frame. The Team Leader is not a manager. This position is in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. As a part of the team, you will coordinate and support the daily work of the team/shift, monitor processes and performance, and act as a link between the team, support functions, and the TM. You will develop and have good knowledge of the key processes and tools within the cell, and close competence gaps by training/coaching and running SOP audit dialogues. You will also control quality, deviations, and line stops together with the TM, focus on waste elimination and improvements, and drive meetings within the cell (shift handover, cell meeting). You will conduct daily work as a team member and make and follow up a detailed plan for the cell. When needed, you will support team members with immediate problem-solving. All employees are expected to prioritize safety, regardless of role. This includes strict adherence to company-wide safety policies and procedures, proactive promotion of safe practices, and addressing unsafe behaviors or conditions in a constructive and positive manner. Employees are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation toward colleagues, customers, vendors, and visitors. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred with relevant experience
  • 1 year of experience from Alfa Laval production/manufacturing/distribution
  • Training skills
  • Office computer skills
  • Good knowledge of SOPs and processes within the team
  • Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints
  • Able to coordinate
  • Have leadership ability
  • Able to motivate people
  • Have high integrity
  • Regularly exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally; 30 lbs of force frequently
  • Stand or walk for 80% of the workday
  • Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment: steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs
  • Exposure to various weather conditions cold or hot, wet/humid conditions, and loud noise levels
  • No climate-controlled environment
  • Work near hazards: moving machinery, vehicles, electrical currents, and chemicals
  • Encounter atmospheric conditions: fumes, dust, gases, odors, and poor ventilation
  • Operate in confined spaces such as narrow aisles or passageways
  • Communicate effectively through speech and hearing

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift operation certification preferred
  • Overhead crane experience preferred
