About The Position
The Machine Tarp Operator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and using both manual tools and automated systems such as Tarpomatic. This role ensures proper load coverage, equipment functionality, and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or heavy equipment operation required.
- Ability to handle large materials.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or hydraulic systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- 1-3 years of machine operation experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure and understand blueprints.
- Understanding of safety and quality processes.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cut, measure, and assemble tarp materials.
- Operate hydraulic and automated tarp deployment systems (e.g., Tarpomatic/ATM).
- Inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on tarp machinery.
- Identify quality issues and assist with troubleshooting.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
