About The Position

Our manufacturing team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality equipment to our customers. As a Machine Operator – Saw, you will operate a horizontal band saw and drill press to prepare materials for production. Your attention to detail and ability to follow standardized work will be essential to maintaining safety, quality, and productivity throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 inch.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong commitment to safety and following standardized work.
• Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to meeting production schedules.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for 9–10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed to meet project and production deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience operating a horizontal band saw preferred.
• Prior experience operating a drill press preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus.
• Vocational or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a horizontal band saw to cut material to specified lengths.
• Operate a drill press to drill and tap holes to designated sizes.
• Read and interpret basic mechanical blueprints and production specifications.
• Use a tape measure to accurately measure material to 1/32 inch.
• Follow standardized work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Safely handle and maneuver materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support production schedules and work overtime as needed to complete projects and meet deadlines.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
