About The Position

Cleaver-Brooks Canada has an immediate opening for a second shift Machine Operator - Robot/Tube Forming, at their Stratford ON facility. Hours of work are 4:00 pm to 2:00 am Monday through Thursday with possible overtime.

Requirements

Manufacturing experience
Good math skills
Problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Mechanical and technical skills
Necessary mechanical aptitude, physical ability, and skills/knowledge to operate tools and equipment
Stamina and physical ability for long hours and repetitive movements
Analytical skills to read and understand blueprints, schematics, models, and specifications

Experience operating an overhead crane

Responsibilities

Understand complex instructions, schematics, and ensure items are designed and built correctly.
Identify reasons for machines not performing at peak efficiency, increase output, and fix errors.
Operate precision equipment with a high degree of accuracy.
Work with CAD/CAM technology and operate highly mechanical machines.
Operate all necessary tools and equipment with proper mechanical aptitude, physical ability, and skills.
Work long hours performing repetitive movements.
Read and understand blueprints, schematics, models, and other specifications.
