Machine Operator (Punch Press) – Technical Glass Products – Snoqualmie, WA Allegion is seeking a Punch Press Operator to fulfill a full-time position in Snoqualmie, WA at our Technical Glass Products facility. This position is responsible for the setup and operation of the punch press for TGP frame products.

Requirements

  • Must have strong mechanical knowledge and skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of computers (PC) using a Windows operating system.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of forklift experience preferred.
  • 1+ years overhead crane operation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Import project specific information to the punch press control.
  • Perform operations on a variety of parts.
  • Inspect completed operations for quality, accuracy and quantity.
  • Maintain equipment and tools as required by the manufacturer and as directed.
  • Detect and reports faulty operation of equipment.
  • Use Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)’s for materials and operations not in compliance.
  • Report all issues and inconsistencies to the Supervisor.
  • Expedite orders as required.
  • Operates all equipment per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), in a safe manner.
  • Organize and maintain the areas around the punch press work cell.
  • Improve work flow, work processes or work procedures as needed.
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) is required.
  • Train additional team members.
  • Proficient in assigned metal finishing techniques.
  • Perform multiple operations simultaneously required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
